Takemi #385 - Takemi d.o.b. Mar 21, 2010

Takemi (means dawn of beauty in Japanese). The staff of a senior day center in Japan Town in San Jose noticed a pregnant cat and started feeding her. They were going to trap her, but before they could do that, they noticed that she had her kittens. They tried to follow the mom, but could never find the kittens. They were saddened when, one morning, they found the mom dead next to the building. They tried searching more frantically for the kittens, but none were found. A few weeks later, a neighbor living near the center home, came with a box and a tiny long-hair kitten. She said that there were 7 kittens and they must have been under the wood shed. She found homes for 6, but could find no one for this darling grey tabby.
